Welcome to Bradley's Bones
Proudly Made by Persons with Disabilities
Newton, Kansas
Changing lives one bone at a time.
Our Story
Bradley's Bones began in 2003 with a need. Our founder owned a German Shepard, Sierra, who at the age of seven, was diagnosed with terminal cancer and she stopped eating. The solution came down to creating a homemade dog treat that Sierra would enjoy for the rest of her days. After giving some treats to the neighborhood dogs and going to a couple craft shows, the rest was history!
In 2016 Bradley's Bones was sold to us, the Weber family, and we understand that desire for the right treat. We've kept the founding morals high on our operating guidelines today. Those reasons are why we teamed up with ResCare to assist us in producing the bones. ResCare stands for Respect and Care, which is exactly what they do for persons with disabilities. ResCare employs adults with disabilities and trains them for the opportunity to enter into the work force if they chose to do so. Bradley’s Bones is working with ResCare to ensure this continues. Each and every single package has “Proudly made by persons with disabilities” on it so our customers know they are helping out someone with a need. Which is exactly what Bradley’s Bones was founded on!
Bradley's Bones is produced by ResCare locations in Newton, Wichita, Garden City, Manhattan, and Liberal, Kansas.
